Amazing Ziplines
This is the perfect activity for people who enjoy high adrenaline experiences. This adventurous zipline is comprised of 11 platforms of varying height. From your unique vantage point you will be able to see colorful landscapes swish by below you as you cross over the Tizate River. You can reach the starting point of this tour via horseback or in a van.
Splashing Water Slide
A specialized tour guide will take you to the water slide, equip you with all necessary tools and give you proper instructions on how to use the slide. This experience provides a refreshing rush of adrenaline in a breathtaking setting. Before you know it you will be rushing down a 400m (1313 ft) long slide straight down into a splashing pool!
Revitalizing Mud Therapy
Guests at Vandará will find a mineral rich mud basin for body treatments. This all natural mud is extracted from the Rincón de la Vieja volcano and thus, rich in minerals that are good for the body and health. This mud therapy has benefits such as exfoliation and softening of the skin, an improvement in circulation, and the alleviation of some skin conditions.
Trapiche
Our trapiche is a distinct point of interest in our park. The ‘Trapiche’ in costa rican culture is a mill that is used to extract juice from sugar cane. At our Trapiche you will see and learn how these work, and have a taste of products that can be obtained through the process. You will also taste some exquisite guanacastecan treats.
Horseback Riding
On this venture you will ride through lush trails rich with wildlife. Ride through the unique lands of Guanacaste and explore this distinct ecosystem. You will ride up the mountain and once you reach the top, your eyes will be amazed with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
